The Transfiguration

While up on a mountain with a few of His disciples, Jesus “was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light” (Matthew 17:2). The men with the Lord were given an amazing privilege and honor to catch a glimpse of the true glory of Christ. Peter described the scene by writing, “He received from God the Father honor and glory” (2 Peter 1:17). In this sermon from the 2018 Mid-MO Study, evangelist Jerry Dickinson powerfully explains the details of this most incredible scene and its significance.

The Marks of Jesus

The apostle closed his letter to the Galatians by saying: “From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus” (6:17). Paul endured much hardship in his service to Christ, even suffering severe physical violence. Like Paul, many Christians in this modern day suffer – not always in our bodies, but in many ways we too can bear the marks of Jesus.

The Measure of A Mature Christian

In this sermon from evangelist Greg Gay, we’re reminded that Christianity is no different as each of us must strive to mature in the faith.
