The Whole Counsel of God

The apostle Paul did not refrain from teaching every divine truth which men and women needed to learn. He described this totality of doctrine as “the whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27). Evangelist Zac Evans acknowledges how easy it is to pick and choose what we like from the Bible and ignore the rest, but he also warns us just how dangerous that is.

I Know Whom I Believed

No one was more undeserving of the grace of God than the apostle Paul. This is not my option, it was Paul’s! He called himself the chief of sinners (1 Timothy 1:15), and “less than the least of all the saints” (Ephesians 3:8). Yet, somehow, this same man wrote “I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day” as he faced the end of his life (2 Timothy 1:12). Find out what he meant and how we can have the same confidence in this sermon from Austin Maddox.

Guarding Our Children

The ever-present influence of the world especially impacts the youth of the church. This means that Christian parents must take special measures to ensure their children know the Lord and the destructiveness of sin. Evangelist Brad Shockley exhorts us to be on guard for our “adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8).
