How should Christians manage religious journals and websites? For generations, members of the Lord’s church have produced written religious materials for the purpose of evangelism and edification. The media through which these writings are transmitted have dramatically changed over the past few decades causing some to question how individual Christians and congregations alike should be engaging in such practices. In this presentation, evangelist Greg Gay outlines a brief history of this subject, emphasizes where our focus should be today, and guides us through some principles to help regulate our choices.
Regeneration is a Biblical subject which focuses on a change which men and women must undergo in order to be pleasing to God. Paul mentioned the “washing of regeneration” (Titus 3:5) and Jesus described the process as being “born again” or “born of water and the Spirit” (John 3:3; 5). Over the history of Christianity, varying theories as to the meaning of regeneration have been proposed and debated, so to help us navigate this complex subject evangelist Mike Criswell summarizes some of these views and guides us through the Bible’s teaching on this important subject. In the year AD 70, the Roman army surrounded, besieged, and destroyed the ancient city of Jerusalem. About 40 years earlier, the Lord Jesus sat down on the Mount of Olives with His disciples and while overlooking the Temple grounds, described in great detail the events which would lead up to that monumental historical event. Christ’s prophecy is recorded in Matthew 24, and in this sermon evangelist Billy Dickinson takes us through the chapter and guides us in its meaning.
