The message of Romans 14 is stated in the very first verse: “Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things.” Unfortunately, instead of focusing on how Christians can “receive one who is weak in the faith,” many believers have argued over what may or may not be included in the category of “doubtful things.” Evangelist Richard Bunner, speaking at the 2017 Grapevine, TX Preacher’s Study, reminds us of the actual focus of Romans 14 and how it applies today. What can we learn from the death of the thief on the cross? In this sermon from evangelist Richard Bunner, we learn that it is possible to be close to Jesus but still be lost.
Carl Ketcherside began preaching at the age of 15 years and was a very controversial figure who espoused so-called ‘open’ fellowship among the churches of Christ. Evangelist Richard Bunner addresses the life and times of Ketcherside and his long-lasting influence on the Restoration Movement.
